Struggle! A word that so many are afraid of and a word that opens up a whole new world. Welcome to Life Stories. The place where we compress life lessons into short stories so that you can grow faster in the game called living.

Now, stay away from all the distractions for the next few minutes, and give your total concentration on this life story.

By definition, the word struggle means to "experience difficulty and make a very great effort in order to do something."

We don't know why so many people take it as something negative, as something we should stay away from.

You can be down on your knees. You can have failures, defeats, and misfortune. Are you going to accept that, or will you struggle to prove you are worth more than that? People won't see your struggles, but life will know if you decide to fight to be on the top. When life is hard, are you going to lay down on the couch at the end of the day, or will you make a plan, work on that plan. The hell with the pain! Use it to grow, use it to get better, use it to become unstoppable!

They are people who go to school, then to university, then to work. Then people are too tired to fight for their happiness because they are too tired; when they get too tired, they become comfortable. When they become comfortable, the illusion of good life sinks, and the weekend mentality kicks in.

Here is a life lesson we must all remind ourselves. Most of us forget that we only have one life! Just the one! One life to be happy! One life to succeed! One life to be your best self. Let us not trade it for a weekend! There is more to life than that.

Here is a short story we want to share with you. There once was a family that had land that produced their food. Twice a year, a big part of their production was destroyed due to bad storms. This happened year after year. The people around them moved away to new lands and started planting from scratch. The family, however, decided not to move and not to struggle with the massive labor to produce everything once again from the beginning. A couple of years have passed, and the storms got more robust, the losses bigger. But they decided not to move from their land and struggled to start from the beginning. The other families that moved away were beginning to see food gains like never before.

Do you get the point of this story now? You are always going to struggle in life. But choose the easy life struggle, and you will always struggle. Chose the short-term struggles, and you will eventually find success within your efforts.

Now, what are you going to do about it? Sometimes we only get one shot in life! In fact, we only get one life! Struggle for lifelong success or struggle for weekend success. The choice is always yours.

And we are going to leave you with this. Commit to doing one thing every day that pushes you forward. Do it every single day for the next 12 months. After one year, you will be ten steps ahead of everyone else.
